Copyright & Takedown Policy
Respect for rights
NostalgiaNow respects the rights of artists, record labels, publishers, creators and other rights holders. Copyright and related rights remain with their respective owners. Video enhancement or embedding does not transfer those rights to NostalgiaNow.
Third-party video and restorations
Content may be embedded through YouTube and other approved services. The fact that a video is available for embedding does not establish that every use is licensed. Restorations and enhancement projects may be withheld, modified or withdrawn when appropriate.
Who may file a complaint
A copyright owner, exclusive licensee or appropriately authorised representative may use the reporting form below. Please provide accurate contact details and explain your rights or authority to act.
Information required for a report
Identify the protected work, the specific NostalgiaNow page, your contact details, the basis of your ownership or authorisation, and a clear explanation of the alleged infringement. Additional evidence may be requested as necessary.
How online reports work
Submit a report using the secure form below. An immediate reference number will be displayed. A dedicated copyright email address is planned, but is not yet published. The form is the current reporting route.
Temporary restriction during review
When a complete report identifies a specific NostalgiaNow video, our system may temporarily restrict public access while authorised staff review the allegation. This precaution does not imply that copyright infringement has been established.
Review and investigation
Staff may examine the material, request further information, assess applicable rights, licensing, exceptions and legal obligations, and record the reasons for the decision. Where a report cannot be linked to a video automatically, staff will review it manually.
Possible outcomes
Depending on the circumstances, we may retain the restriction, remove or edit the page, restore content where a complaint is dismissed, or take other appropriate steps. Existing global blocks and separate restrictions are not lifted automatically.
Disputes and additional evidence
Relevant parties may submit additional information or request reconsideration. Any re-publication decision must account for unresolved complaints and third-party restrictions. Nothing prevents recourse to competent courts or authorities.
Good-faith reporting
Use this process honestly and only where you have a genuine basis for the report. Knowingly false, fraudulent or abusive notices may lead to appropriate action, without limiting legitimate rights or legal remedies.
Privacy and complaint records
We use report details to verify and investigate complaints, correspond where possible, and document decisions. Access is restricted to authorised staff. Necessary case and audit retention will be documented in the Privacy Policy; reports must not be retained indefinitely without justification.
Further contact
A dedicated copyright email address will be published after the site domain and mail service are configured. Until then, submit claims using the form on this page. This procedure does not replace any mandatory legal notification route.
Submit a Copyright Complaint
For rights holders and authorised representatives. Identify the exact NostalgiaNow page and describe the rights involved. A report is an allegation, not a finding of infringement. Recognised videos may be temporarily hidden pending review.
